Study Details: MRes 1 year full-time; 2 years part-time
The MRes Computing Science provides students with foundation training in the research skills sufficient to enter a Doctoral programme. This MRes is also suitable for candidates who wish to obtain a research oriented degree in a short period of time. You will specialise in one of the broad areas of the School of Computing Science’s research. Study will include taught modules, research techniques, and a directed study module with a project component. This MRes also requires you to complete a focused dissertation, which will be more substantial than that of other taught MSc courses.
Open to students with a good first degree (min 2.1 or equivalent) in Computer Science or similar subject, or those with equivalent qualifications and experience.
