Crime/thriller fiction is the most popular literary genre in the world, with UEA at the forefront of both its critical and creative study. This Master’s gives students a window to create a full-length novel under the guidance of award-winning crime writers and experienced creative writing tutors – without having to relocate or give up their day job. Delivered over two years via a specifically designed distance learning online platform, and three short residential periods per year, in September, January and May. Students can stay at UEA’s on-campus hotel.
Open to applicants with a good Honours degree – UK BA (Hons) 2:1 or equivalent – desired but not essential. Admission is submission of a portfolio of writing for assessment, personal statement and interview (Skype option available for overseas applicants). Please visit UEA’s website for complete details.
