Our MSc in Cyber Resilience goes beyond conventional cyber security to focus not only the prevention of cyber-attacks, but also on maintaining services during an attack and rapid recovery afterwards. This programme is provisionally certified by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) and will equip you with a powerful skillset highly prized by employers throughout the world-wide digital economy, now and for the foreseeable future.
The cyber domain is vast. It incorporates all digital devices and all digital communications, across all time frames. Your car, your archived health data, your social media interactions, your financial information, even your electricity supply are all affected. It’s a multifaceted domain that goes beyond just technical computing. Organisational processes, individual human behaviours, wider societal norms, and the physical environment all matter. Ultimately, the goal of cyber resilience is to ensure that critical services which people rely on continue to operate even when attacked.
Upper second-class (2:1) honours degree (in STEM (science, engineering, technology and mathematics) with evidence of technical computing experience). Students with a non-STEM background or lower grades degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
