Aircraft aerodynamics and handling performances are always the most important and challenging aspects for aircraft designs, particularly with the consideration of advanced materials and advanced aircraft technologies. The MSc Engineering (Aeronautical) will help to advance your knowledge within this fascinating sector.
- Students will have access to state-of-art facilities, including a Merlin Flight Simulator for design purposes and testing their own aircraft.
- You will learn and use cutting-edge design, analysis and simulation software: MATLAB/Simulink, CATIA v5, ANSYS, and ABAQUS, and will have access to subsonic and supersonic wind tunnel facilities and rapid prototyping facilities.
- As well as being located nearby to Airbus, one of the largest aircraft companies in the world, Wrexham Glyndŵr University has close links with aviation industries such as Rolls-Royce, Raytheon and Magellan.

Entry Requirements
An honours degree with at least a 2:2 classification or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline or relevant professional experience.
