Masters Degree Description

Develop your innovation and analytical skills to become an effective manager with an engineering firm.

All new technologies, products and services require careful management to take them from the concept stage to commercial success. This course will enable you to operate within a strategically important part of professional engineering, irrespective of the technical area.

The course is taught by internationally leading experts and practising managers to ensure you master not only the theory of management tools and techniques, but also how they are applied in real engineering situations.

Accreditation

Accredited by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) under licence from the UK regulator, the Engineering Council.

Some employers recruit preferentially from accredited degrees, and an accredited degree is likely to be recognised by other countries that are signatories to international accords.

Entry Requirements

2:2 or equivalent in an Engineering programme (such as Electronics/Electrical, Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Automation) or an Engineering Management programme. Applications are also welcomed from candidates with high marks in relevant modules or appropriate industrial experience.
