The boundaries between health and social care are becoming increasingly blurred and UK government policy aims to create seamless services. In order to address these developments, organisational processes are changing across the health and social care fields. This specialist course will meet the needs of health and social care professionals and those from similar backgrounds seeking to address these issues in a rapidly changing environment and confront the challenges of current professional practice and political agendas. The course offers the opportunity to engage in reflective practice to build on knowledge and transferable skills in this new environment. The present active policy agenda demands that the content of the course is continually updated to address current critical issues and the needs of individual students.
