Masters Degree Description

Learn from seasoned professionals

This part time (evening) programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) and aims to develop HRM practitioners in leadership and people management. The programme is taught by seasoned professionals with a broad HR background in academia and business.

Entry Requirements

One of the features of the course is the diversity of the student cohort. You may be working in any sector (private, public or not-for-profit) or industry (government, finance, consultancy, private industry, high-tech, retail, hospitality) and organisations of any size (from SME’s to multi-national companies). We welcome students from a variety of background and academic disciplines. Entry requirements include an undergraduate degree (minimum 2.2) in any subject.

It is anticipated that you will have two year’s work experience, mostly likely within a HR or people management field. We will also consider applicants who are working in a management role outside of HR.

If you lack the required academic qualifications but meet the work experience requirements above, you are also eligible to apply. As part of the application process you will be asked to complete a written assessment based on a work-related HR issue and to be assessed by the course admissions team.
