MSc International Development with Policy Analysis provides you with advanced policy analysis skills for analysing & evaluating international development policy. It is informed by the belief that the analysis and evaluation of policy is a key skill for those who work in a range of public and non-governmental organisations and/or for those who are directly affected by public policy decisions.
Designed to enhance your employability in international development policy at local, national and international scales, it is complemented by the analysis of how international development has been affected by the changing nature of the state. You will develop a critical appreciation of the global/local dimension of the policy environment, & an understanding of the factors that constrain and enable governments, non-governmental actors and policy makers.
Standard entry is normally with a 2:2 honours degree or international equivalent, or relevant equivalent experience.
International applicants are required to have one of the following English language qualifications – A British Council International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 (or above), Pearson Academic score of 62 (or above) or a Test of English as a Foreign Language – Internet Based Test) (TOEFL IBT) score of 89 (or above).
