Our MSc invites students from around the world and UK students wishing to expand their understanding of an overseas market to study the global workplace from a human resource perspective. Looking at employers across the globe, you will use qualitative and quantitative methods to critically evaluate company data, including the analysis of statistical information such as recruitment and retention rates.
You will also measure the success of training, looking at how it benefits staff and what the real return on investment is. Meanwhile, your qualitative data focuses on employee and manager perceptions, employer brand and how a company becomes an employer of choice.
Applicants should either have a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional; all applicants should satisfy our University English language requirements.
