The MSc focuses on the political and economic analysis of the extraction, production and export of energy in Eurasia. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the interlocking challenges facing the energy sector – and political, economic and social actors more broadly – in Russia, Central Asia, the Caucasus and Europe, and an understanding of a range of disciplinary and theoretical approaches to policy and academic analysis.
Minimum 2:1 first degree or an equivalent qualification from a British or overseas university. Professional qualifications and experience may be taken into account. A working knowledge of Russian is welcome but not obligatory.
