This two year master’s degree will provide individuals who already have a relevant bachelor’s degree the opportunity to study an occupational therapy degree at master’s level. On successful completion of the degree you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health Professions Council as an occupational therapist.
Occupational therapy is concerned with supporting people to manage any limitations or disability and enabling them to fulfil the demands of their daily lives with greater skill and satisfaction. This could be in areas of physical disability, mental health or learning disability and you may work with individuals of all ages, including children. As a graduate occupational therapist you will have opportunity to work in the NHS or a local authority, in hospitals, schools, community settings, voluntary settings or private practice.
