The Certificate in Education Post Compulsory Education is a two year course that is undertaken by teachers who are already working in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
Students normally attend taught sessions once a week at one of a number of Partner colleges across the West Midlands and further afield. The Partnership involves strong links between the partner colleges and the University. By undertaking this course, you will be joining a Community of Practice underpinned by a strong culture of teaching and learning and critical enquiry.
You will be an in-service teacher employed within the Lifelong Learning Sector and able to provide evidence of at least 150 hours of teaching practice experience over the duration of the award.
You should hold an appropriate qualification of at least National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 3 in the subject area in which you are teaching.
