Masters Degree Description

In this Masters degree you will gain knowledge of the practical use of psychology in sport and exercise contexts. You will develop a critical understanding of the relationship between theoretical concepts and applied practice in the psychological factors influencing sport performance and exercise participation.

Our MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology degree supports you in developing the necessary practical and professional competencies to conduct needs assessments and develop interventions to support athletes across the lifespan. These skills and experiences form part of the required stage 1 training in sport and exercise psychology. They also prepare you to start your stage 2 training to become an accredited sport psychologist.
