Writing in the Modern World is devoted to the critical and creative study of 20th and 21st century literature. Writing is understood as what we read and what we make; exploring the interrelation of the two activities is central to this MA. As a student on Writing the Modern World you will both reflect on and participate in this on-going dynamic of thinking, reading and writing about modern and contemporary literature.
Open to applicants with a good Honours degree – UK BA (Hons) 2:1 or equivalent. Applicants must submit a sample of academic writing (essay from undergraduate degree) for assessment. Please visit UEA’s website for complete details.
