Our Economics and Econometrics MSc combines the study of advanced economics topics together with a solid foundation in current econometric theory, and the expertise to apply that theory to the analysis of economic data. You will use statistical techniques to test theories with real-world data.
You will learn from experts in their field. Our teaching is influenced by the work of researchers at the Granger Centre for Time Series Econometrics, including Nobel Prize winner and Nottingham alumnus, Sir Clive Granger. The centre focuses on research in both theoretical and applied time series econometric analysis, including panel data methods.
You will take specialist core modules and choose from a range of options to suit your interests. You will also receive one-to-one guidance to enable you to complete your research project.
